A student of the Culinary Institute of the Arts in New York City, ​Valenzuela is well recognized for his inventive use of ingredients, presentation, and flavor. Chef Valenzuela combines fresh ingredients with modern, traditional and ethnic flare. He will customize your function to embody your culinary desires.

His deep appreciation for continental cuisine was developed at a young age. He was born in Guadalajara Jalisco Mexico, grew up in California and the Salt Lake City area, where he was exposed to a variety of food that would fuel his lifelong passion for cooking. Working and studying the nuances of both French and Classic American cuisine, he began his culinary career at the age of 19. Cooking in some of the best restaurants is the USA with great chefs. From the well-known restaurant, Stein Erickson Lodge located at the peak of Deer Valley in Salt Lake City to Pelham Country Club located in New York City, for the past 20 plus years, Chef Valenzuela has continued to refine his craft. His work is central to every meal he produces. His passion for cooking gives everything that extra ounce of deliciousness. When he is not cooking at work, you will find him cooking with his young daughters and wife. He also enjoys bicycling, hiking, and fishing.

With over 15 years of experience in event management, floral artistry, and wedding coordination, I bring a seasoned touch to every celebration. My journey has been one of weaving dreams into reality, ensuring each event is a harmonious blend of elegance and heartfelt connection.

At Millcreek Inn, nestled in the serene beauty of the canyon, I curate weddings and special events that resonate with authenticity and grace. My approach is intuitive and detail-oriented, ensuring that every element, from the floral arrangements to the cadence of your special day, aligns seamlessly with your vision.

Memory comes to Millcreek Inn with over two decades of experience in event planning and management. Originally from Southern California she has coordinated events of all shapes & sizes – From corporate retreats and product launches to golf tournaments and fundraising galas, from legislative receptions and Mayor’s Balls to weddings and multi-day festivals. As CEO & President of the Fountain Valley Chamber of Commerce, Ms. Bartlett received the distinguished honor of being named one of the top “Women in the Workplace” by her California State Senator in 2022. However, if you were to ask Memory what her greatest accomplishment has been, she would unequivocally state, her son Honor. He is her world, and we are grateful that he has agreed to share her with us.
